Where can I buy Fiberon fencing?

Fiberon Fencing is no longer available to buy. It was discontinued at the beginning of 2020. The product was known as Woodshades at Lowe's and Veranda composite fence at The Home Depot.

Unlike Trex, Fiberon fencing was designed to emulate backyard wood fencing. It employed flat 3/8" composite pickets with treated wood rails and posts covered by composite material. It was designed as a pre-colored alternative to wood fencing and was popular with do-it-yourselfers.

Trex took a very different approach to composite fencing than Fiberon. Trex designed a fence system with fully composite components that does not require a wood insert inside of the post to be structurally sound. Trex does not use treated 2x4s as support rails instead opting for a heavy gauge aluminum bottom rail. The pickets are manufactured with extruded with bends to provide strength, rigidity, and an interlocking design for full privacy. Fiberon, like wood, created big gaps between the pickets when the product contracted in cooler temperatures. In hotter temperatures, the pickets would buckle when they expanded.

Trex fencing has been the leader in the composite fencing category since its inception in 2005. It is available through special order in box stores, online at our shop, and by contractors that offer installation services. Contact us for more details: 877-700-8739.

Trex does not use treated wood components in its rails and posts like the discontinued Fiberon fencing product.
