Can you cut composite fencing?

Composite fencing from Trex can be cut just like lumber. The pickets, posts, and rails are not preassembled into panels so it is easy to cut the materials to the dimensions you need. Cutting the composite requires the same tools needed to cut wood fences. Typically, you will only need a circular saw or table saw. No special blades are required for the composites. For the metal supports, you can use your normal saws with a non-ferrous blade for the Seclusions aluminum bottom rail and a regular metal cutting blade for the Horizons frame system. Our online resources include installation guides that have information on how to cut the material and much more.
