Do you have post skirts?

Trex Fencing posts are different than Trex railing posts. Just like the Trex Fencing system, the Trex railing system has its own complementary components including skirts for post bases. While skirts are not manufactured for Trex Fencing posts (fences in general don't use skirts), Trex Fencing caps can be modified to create skirts. Using a plunge router or jigsaw, cut out the top of the mold to create a 5x5 hole. Flip it upside down before placing it. This will allow the modified cap to slide down over the post and rest at the base with the widest part of the new cap sitting on the surface as a skirt.
