Are Trex posts hollow or solid?

Trex fence posts are hollow with a thick, dense wall, which means you do not have to use internal support (such as pressure-treated wood or steel posts). The advantage of a hollow post is that it can be used as a sleeve if necessary. Trex posts will sleeve over the top of a typical 4x4 post so it can be used for deck railing, privacy screen mounted on decks, walls, or pads. They can also slide over steel posts that are embedded into or anchored to a wall.
